It is easy to visit Okstindan nature and culture park, both by public transportation and your own car.

Okstindan nature and culture park is located in the middle of Helgeland, one hour drive from both Mo i Rana, Mosjøen and Sandnessjøen. We have our own train station at Bjerka, the E6 runs through large parts of the municipality and the nearest airport is Røssvoll in Mo i Rana.

Glacier hike

Okstindbreen glacier

Okstindbreen is Norway’s eighth largest glacier and covers an area of approximately 46 km2. The highest elevation is approximately 1,580 meters and the lowest elevation is approximately 750 meters.
