Kjensvasshytta cabin

Kjensvasshytta cabin, which is situated on Kjensvatnet lake, offers 28 beds. It has electricity and running water. In the summer, you can drive all the way up and park by the cabin, which has recently been refurbished with facilities for disabled guests. Kjensvasshytta has a sauna and you can rent a boat for exploring or fishing the lake. The cabin is an excellent starting point for hikes to Okstindbreen glacier and Oksskolten, the highest peak in the Okstindan range. You might also consider an extended hike, visiting some of the other DNT cabins in Osktindan. Rabothytta cabin is 10 km away, about a four-hour hike, while Gressvasshytta is only 8 km, or about a three-hour hike.
