Aktiviteten Hemnes (Korgen)
We are located in the old bank, and rent the so-called bank hall. We run a knitting café on Tuesdays, and quiz nights every Thursday. We arrange group trips to concerts and Christmas parties, and our own food events for members.
Korgfjellets Venner

The Friends of Korgfjellet is an association that will contribute to the development of Korgfjellet as an important area for outdoor activities, recreation and leisure, including contributing to the development of hiking trails and hiking destinations for the enjoyment of the population and visitors.

Contributes to making Hemnesberget a pleasant place, responsible for planting and activities for everyone.
Auskaran (Hemnesberget)
Auskaran is a boys' club, whose purpose is free and unforced social and friendly interaction between members, including trips and visits to relevant companies and places. The club shall be a non-partisan and non-religious organization. In addition, the club shall work for the benefit of Hemnesberget's residents.
JuVel – Juvika velforening

Juvika welfare association, or Juvel as it is abbreviated, is a small but active welfare association located in the residential area of Juvika on Hemnesberget. The goal is to promote the common interests of the members in the area, and work for the social and physical environment of the place, and the well-being and safety of the residents. This includes, among other things, forestation, clearing and general maintenance of various common areas/outdoor areas as well as arranging social activities such as barbecues, sledding days and ice skating.
Bleikvassli bygdelag

A local community association that owns and manages the Old School and the køta (a Southern Sami turf hut) area in Bleikvasslia. They also take care of other cultural and historical values in the surrounding area. They host an annual kamkake festival (a traditional local bread)!

A local community association that bring people together in Leirskaldalen for joint activities that promote well-being in the village.
Ungdomslaget i Bjerkadalen
(Bjerka)
The youth team U.L. Breidablikk is based at Bjerkadalsveien 127. Here, the old school in Bjerkadalen has been restored and converted into a community house with space for around 75 people. Throughout the year, the youth association organizes events such as a spring coffee gathering in March, an Advent coffee in December, a Christmas tree party around the holiday season, bingo, and excursions. VILLAGE COMMITEES
Hemnes Municipality annually allocates funds to be distributed among five village and town committees in Hemnes. The village and town committees shall represent voluntary groups, organizations and the population in each village, and be drivers in the work of developing and strengthening the local communities both physically and socially. All the villages have chosen to organize themselves in different ways, please contact Hemnes Municipality if you would like more information about the committees.
