The goal of the agreement is to strengthen business work in the Rana region and in Hemnes in particular. The collaboration facilitates competence development, exchange of experiences and following up on important issues for business in Hemnes across industries. A separate business forum will also be established for Hemnes - consisting of ONK's partners. All members of the business forum will also receive membership in the Rana region business association.

Kjell Joar Petersen-Øverleir, chairman of the ONK board, is very satisfied with the agreement reached. Under the auspices of the business forum, gatherings and various business activities will be arranged – digital or physical meetings – with skills development and discussion of current business issues. Culture and business also belong closely together – and will be highlighted.
