How about a picnic at the picnic area by the old stone bridge, just 1 km from the center of Korgen?
If you follow Fv. 806 from Korgen towards Bleikvasslia you will quickly reach the beautiful Sjøforsbrua. The bridge is an arch bridge built for traffic in 1905 in hand-hewn stone, and represents some of the best of old Norwegian bridge-building art. It was in use until 1960, and was restored to its original condition and appearance around 1980. Today the bridge is protected and a new bridge has been built nearby.
