Korgfjellet – caravan camping

You never get tired of the amazing view from the top of Korgfjellet pass!

It’s easy to understand why many travellers have longed for the opportunity to park their caravan at Korgfjellet, to enjoy the evening and morning views of the Okstindan mountains and be able to take short but rewarding walks in the area. Well, now it’s finally possible!

Korgfjellet Fjellstue now offers a dedicated campsite with power hook-ups for people travelling by caravan. There are 10–12 caravan spots. Guests have access to a service building with a laundry facility, showers and toilets.

The hosts also offer six new comfortable cabins, as well as five double rooms in the lodge itself. On the website for Korgfjellet Fjellstue, you can check out the details, see what is vacant and book online!

All guests also have access to a large natural outdoor pool and a sauna, year round. (During the winter, you can challenge yourself to ice swimming!)

Ever since 1972, the Molden family and the staff at Korgfjellet Fjellstue have been serving satisfying meals to countless guests, eager hikers as well as people travelling by car. From early in the morning until late in the evening, you can enjoy hearty food prepared according to traditional local recipes, order pizza baked in the stone oven, or take delight in hot apple pie with ice cream.

Most years, the lodge itself is open from Easter until October or November. The lodge only shuts when snow conditions force closure of the road over Korgfjellet pass.

To reach Korgfjellet Fjellstue, take the turnoff from highway E6 just before the Korgfjell Tunnel, either south or north of it depending on your direction of travel. Then follow the road until you reach the lodge, perched at 555 metres altitude at the top of the pass.

Welcome!
