Inderdalen Gård is a treasure trove where hidden "junk" has been brought out and restored with love and diligence, to honor the generations that have lived here over several centuries, and to delight everyone who makes the trip up here to the foot of Okstindan.
Here you can visit the café and farm shop on selected days of the year, or rent premises for groups who want to serve food, bake Kamkake, learn about history or take a tour of the restored buildings. From April to October, the hosts also offer exclusive accommodation on the farm for those who want to stay in the middle of history.
A farm that has existed for many centuries and is run by the same family has a rich cultural heritage. The farm is currently owned by Arild Inderdal, the 8th generation of the tribe that took over in 1742, and Arild and the rest of the host are happy to share stories passed down through generations and bring this to life through treasures found on the farm. In addition to Arild, the main host consists of Oscar Inderdal, Ann-Synnøve and Agdis Albertsen, as well as a whole bunch of great contributors who are in one way or another connected to the farm.
Inderdalen Gård is located at the end of a road and at the start of the DNT trail to Gråfjellhytta in Okstindan. Here you will also find a public service building with a shower and toilet. If you follow the DNT trail, you are already 2,5 km into Sjurfinnheimen, a great hiking destination in itself. From Inderdalen Gård you can also go to other nice hiking destinations such as Murhåjen, a viewpoint over Bryggfjelldalen and Tverrfjellet.
