The aim of the agreement is to strengthen business work in the Rana region and in Hemnes in particular. The collaboration facilitates competence development, exchange of experience and following up important issues for the business community in Hemnes across industries. A separate business forum will also be established for Hemnes – consisting of ONK’s partners. All members of the business forum will also be members of the Rana region business association (RNF).

Kjell Joar Petersen-Øverleir, chairman of the board of ONK is very satisfied with the agreement. Under the auspices of the business forum, gatherings and various business activities will be arranged – digital or physical meetings – with competence replenishment and discussion of relevant business issues. Culture and industry also belong closely together – and will be highlighted.
