The people of Hemnes municipality have a long tradition of hosting a Boat & Fjord Festival. For over 25 years, always during the last weekend of June, the centre of festivities has been the harbour in the village of Hemneberget.
The programme includes many activities for children and adults. How about a pirate show, family show, marina show, the “Olabil Race” (go-carts without engines), the World Boat-Clamp Tossing Championships, a market, the festival dance – and much, much more.
