For over 25 years, enthusiastic Hemnes residents have organized the Boat and Fjord Festival in the marina at Hemneberget, always the last weekend in June.
The festival always offers many activities for both children and adults: family shows, pirate shows, play parks, marina shows, stock car races, the World Cup in boat staple throwing, martna, festival dancing, and much more.
